Dallas Burlesque Festival

The 2nd annual Dallas Burlesque Festival is this weekend at the historic Texas Theater! Last year's inaugural event was a sold out success so this year they added a second night! With over 50 dancers, live pin up shoots, a fashion show and lots of fabulous vendors, this will be Texas' largest burlesque event of the year. I will performing my newest routine choreographed by the amazing Eric Hall from the Lolliebombs. Also performing at the festival are Courtney Crave, Ruby Joule, Coco Lectric, Ginger Valentine, La Divina, Rose Darling, and many other Texas favorites as well as performers from as far away as New Orleans and even New Zealand! Miss Exotic World Angie Pontani will be headlining both nights. Did I mention it's at the Texas Theater where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested? Come be a part of Dallas burlesque history in on of the cities most historically infamous venues!

Crystal Palace burlesque - photos!

Here are a few photos from the Crystal Palace burlesque event last weekend. Although I was backstage most of the time I did manage to sneak out long enough to see about half of the acts. Everyone really did a terrific job, and the casting was phenomenal. I wish I could have seen the whole show! Bravo ladies! And thanks to The Church and La Divina burlesque for including me in this show. Sharing the stage with the legendary Catherine D'Lish was a dream come true! I could post the crappy iPhone pics I got from backstage, but these pics from Ben Britt are so much better.

Crystal Palace burlesque starring Catherine D'Lish

I will be debuting my newest collaboration with Lolliebombs choreographer Eric Hall this Saturday at the Lakewood Theater in Dallas!

Crystal Palace burlesque show January 23, 2010 at the Lakewood Theater.

The show features the incomparable talent of internationally famous burlesque star Catherine D'Lish. A two time Ms. Exotic World / Burlesque Hall Of Fame Champion.

Ms. D'Lish, currently on an extended tour in Europe, will do her first performance back in the US in Dallas, Texas at the Lakewood Theater for La Divina Productions.

In honor of bringing such famed talent, La DIvina Productions along with the Lizard Lounge are bringing out only the finest Texas Burlesque performers to share the stage with Ms. D'Lish. These stars include La Divina, Jolee Blon, Athena Fatale, Ginger Valentine, The Jigglewatts, Angie B. Lovely, Rose Darling, Courtney Crave, Melissa Meow, Bunny Bailey, and others.

The Lakewood Theater will be decked out in its finest for such a spectacular show.

There will be vendors to sell you burlesque oriented items, including Renea LeRoux and the House Of LeRoux will be selling the finest burlesque costumes... save your money and bring lots of extra cash for the bling!

Wicked Naked Girls Reading at the 1727 Gallery

"Wicked Naked Girls Reading is La Divina Production’s second show and a follow up to our sold out premiere of Naked Girls Reading- Dallas “Nightcaps.” La Divina Productions, are the people that brought you the Burlesque Nocturne, 2009 Atomic Frolic and Spring Swing Burlesque Revue. The original Naked Girls Reading, based out of Chicago, was created by Michelle L’amour, burlesque superstar and Miss Exotic World 2005. Naked Girls Reading is one part literary gathering and one part pin up event."

The naked ladies who will be reading will include La Divina, Black Mariah, Rose Darling, Cora Coquette with a special guest star appearance by Athena Fatale (http://www.athenafatale.com). The show will be hosted, by Jesse Jessup (presumably clothed).

This spoken word/artistic event will be held at the 1727 Levee Gallery/LuminArte Design Studio a gallery and event space in the Dallas Design District near downtown Dallas, Texas. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20.00 on the night of the show.
